The Church in Ruins: Brief Thoughts on II Timothy
This brief survey of Paul’s last epistle will reveal that while almost 2000 years have transpired, the condition of the church has remained the same, and indeed has worsened in accordance with Paul’s warning to Timothy. This book is not a call for a re-awakening of “the church,” because it is apparent that this is not Father’s plan. Rather, it is a call to individual men – men whose place in the Christian religious system has left them empty, stagnant, and restless – to awaken to Father’s call to be His faithful servant and stand outside of that system to look for other faithful men as well.  144 page PB --  ISBN: 978193425151

When people learn the truth about Paul’s apostleship and message, they often ask questions like: “What happened to Christianity?” “When did the church abandon Paul’s gospel?” “How did we get into such a mess?” The real answer to these questions is not to be found in church history. The answer is found much earlier than that – in the writings of Paul, our Apostle.

Where does the believer who follows God fit in today’s religions? To which denomination or church should we belong? In this book we will look at our Apostle’s last words as found in the book of II Timothy. It is here that we will find the final marching orders for the church.
Understanding this letter of Paul is essential to knowing how to walk as

A vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet [useful, profitable] for
the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work (II Timothy 2:21).

Members of Christ’s Body, “the Church” – the ecclesia – are God’s called-out ones. II Timothy is their true story.
